The Romanian sheet and plate producer ArcelorMittal Galati called on Boccard teams to restart its number 5 blast furnace.
The relining which was carried out during the shutdown of the blast furnace aims to extend its life by 15 years .
Our teams thus ensured the complete EPC of the project including cooling and hydraulic systems, cooling box and tube rack .

12 months of intervention
Around 5,000 tonnes of steel and 3,000 tonnes of refractory materials were used for the blast furnace
265 kilometers of electrical cables were laid.
