VEXILLUM - cosmetics & hygiene, pharmaceutical&biotechnology homogenizing mixer
Based on years of experience in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic markets, we have developed a versatile device that can be used in drug and cosmetic manufacturing plants.
The VEXILLUM mixer is a set of interacting process equipment consisting of a mixer made in the class of pharmaceutical equipment equipped with a system of double mixers, a slow-rotating frame mixer with scrapers and a fast-rotating paddle mixer.
VEXILLUM - mixer for cosmetics and medicines
It is used in the production of ointments, syrups, gels, shampoos, soaps, hair care products, mouthwashes, emulsions. For products from low to high viscosities.
The basic version of the mixer is equipped with a double-mixer system located on the upper bottom.
The system consists of a propeller agitator and an anchor agitator with scrapers. With these two stirrers, we are able to mix most of the products on the water bases. We have installed a rotor-stator type homogenizer on the bottom dish, which can easily handle mixing substances with viscosities of up to 30 000 cp.
Our homogenizer also has a pumping function, which, together with a bypass, allows circuits to be created below and above the product surface.
The unit also has cleaning functions in its own circuit through the CIP heads.
The mixer is designed to operate under negative pressure, which minimizes product aeration.
As an option, we are able to install a funnel for dosing powders in the circuit by means of a vacuum. The Vexillium is designed in accordance with GMP rules. The internal surfaces are ground by hand to a roughness of Ra<0.8.
